Sonoma Dentist - Dr. Lynne Hsia - Pediatric Dentistry
A Notice to Our Patients (updated on 6/10/2020)
The Sonoma County Public Health Department, the California Dental Association, and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) now allow dental offices to resume performing non-emergency dental procedures.
As I begin the gradual reopening the office, my top priority is still for the safety and well-being of our patients and our team members. I believe it is best to open for limited hours currently as PPE supplies are still very limited.
Our office follows up-to-date protocol recommendations made by the American Dental Association, the CDC, and OSHA.
You may see some changes listed below, but not limited to the following, when it is time for your next appointment.
--Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You'll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
--All our patients and their guardians/companions are required to wear a mask or some sort of face cover when entering our office.
--At your appointment time you can text or call us that you have arrived and we will contact you when we are ready to see you.
--Your temperature will be taken when you arrive at our office.
--We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use or wash your hands when you enter our office. You will also find hand sanitizer in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
--You will be provided an antivirus/bacterial mouthrinse before dental procedures.
--I will use isolation devices such dental dams, Isodry system, or a high-speed volume suction to minimize aerosol-generating procedures.
--Addition disinfection with ultra low volume fogging with Hypochlorous acid (HOCL) to clean the air and all surfaces.
--You will see our Hyper-HEPA air purification systems throughout the office.
--Your appointment will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. We will do our best to allow greater time in between patients to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
I hope these protocols in place will help you and your loved ones feel comfortable and safe coming to the office. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Our answering service is also available during after-hours and or during business hours at (707) 938-7660. They may be experiencing a significant increase in calls, so wait times may be longer than usual. As an alternative, you may also contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We ask and thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time.
Thank you for being our patients and we look forward to welcoming you back.
