A Notice to Our Patients (updated on 12/22/2020)

The Sonoma County Public Health Department, the California Dental Association, and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) now allow dental offices to resume performing non-emergency dental procedures since May 2020.

As I reopening my office, my top priority is still for the safety and well-being of our patients and our team members. I believe it is best to reopen with caution.

Our office follows up-to-date protocol recommendations made by the American Dental Association, the CDC, and OSHA.

Your Safety is our highest priority:

You may see some changes listed below, but not limited to the following, when it is time for your next appointment.

--Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some Covid screening questions. You'll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.

--All our patients and their guardians are required to wear a masks over their nose and mouth and under their chin at all times when entering our office.

-- Due to rise in Covid infections, we are restricting and requiring all patients to be accompanied with only one guardian or one parent per appointment to help keep our number of visitors low. Please consider dropping your older children off with our dental team and please wait in your car in our parking lot until your child's appointment has completed.

--Our front door will remained locked during normal business hours to allow for better Covid screening and safety control.

---At your appointment time you can text or call us that you have arrived and we will contact you when we are ready to see you and let you enter our office.

--Your temperature will be taken and hand sanitizer will be dispensed to your hands when you enter our office. You will also find hand sanitizer in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.

--You will be provided an antivirus/bacterial mouthrinse before dental procedures.

--I will use isolation devices such dental dams, Isodry system, or a high-speed volume suction to minimize aerosol-generating procedures.

--Addition disinfection with ultra low volume fogging with Hypochlorous acid (HOCL) to clean the air and all surfaces.

--You will see our Hyper-HEPA air purification systems throughout the office.

--Your appointment will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. We will do our best to allow greater time in between patients to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

I hope these protocols in place will help you and your loved ones feel comfortable and safe coming to the office. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Our answering service is also available during after-hours and or during business hours at (707) 938-7660. They may be experiencing a significant increase in calls, so wait times may be longer than usual. As an alternative, you may also contact us by email at We ask and thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time.

Thank you for your cooperation with our safety protocols.
